Established in 1995 as a joint Stock company, Eurasia Insurance Company is a young dynamic professional insurance company setting its sights on being a major player in the region and, at the same time, maintaining its leading position in the Kazakhstan insurance market for many years to come.

Eurasia’s growth over the past few years has exceeded that of any company within the Kazakh insurance market. GWPI as of 31 March 2008 amounted to US$69.01m with Assets of US$333.49m (including Equity of US$178m).

Eurasia is one of the most transparent of all insurance companies operating in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On 27 November 2006, Eurasia was assigned a rating by AM Best of ‘B++’. Eurasia is the only insurance company to have been assigned a rating by AM Best in Kazakhstan and the CIS having the highest rating of any insurance company in Central and Eastern Europe. AM Best reaffirmed this rating on 22 October 2007

This rating gives Eurasia the credibility as a major insurer and reinsurer not only in the Kazakh, the CIS countries and the neighboring region’s insurance markets, but also on a global basis.

EURASIA: International Memberships

IUA (International Underwriting Association - London) - Eurasia Insurance Company is the only member insurer from the CIS countries.

IIS (International Insurance Society - New York)

FAIR (Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers) - Eurasia Insurance Company is the only member insurer from the CIS countries.
