Since 1988, Prescott Architects, Inc. has been providing architectural services to the Florida panhandle and surrounding areas.

The firm specializes in commercial, resort and residential architecture. With a staff of ten, including one registered architect, three intern architects, one construction administrator, one interior designer, support technicians and staff. The firm provides creative, efficient and accurate service to its clients. The firm also maintains an ongoing relationship with local civil, geotechnical, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering companies.

Prescott Architects, Inc. has designed many of the prominent buildings in the area including the Flamingo Cafe, Crab Trap, Pompano Joe's and Fisherman's Wharf restaurants, Summerlin and Gulf Dunes Condominiums, Majestic Sun at Seascape and Summerwind Resort in Navarre, and Summer Place, Bay Club Phase II and Windemere Condominiums which are under construction. The firm has also done many private residences and specializes in coastal construction and Department of Environmental Protection permitting.

Jeffrey Prescott, The principal architect, graduated from Pratt Institute in 1970 and worked for Edward Durell Stone in New York City before relocating to Aspen, Colorado in 1979, and to Destin, Florida in 1982.

The firm has had work published in Progressive Architecture, Home Magazine, Southern Living, and Metal Architecture, and has received local awards for projects and design.
