"Konsul" Gymnasium 86 (Kiev)

Built before World War II, finished after. Started its life as male-only school, but after 1960 became school for both males & females and was known as an great English language studying place. In 1996 or 1997 (don't remember exactly), director, Melnik Tatyana converted this school to a "Konsul" Gymnasium and started collecting money :). Addmition fee $2000 once, even if you fail the addmission test, than about $300 monthly.
Anyway novadays it is an average school as an interntaional standards, but still it is one of the best among Kyyiv schools.
