There is a nice path that circum-navigates the "pond" (storm water catchment facility). The ducks enjoy it.
There is a sandy play area for the kids that is not near the water.

  • Hey! Let's all go for a walk around the catchment facility!! Bring your rifle, and maybe we can snag us some birds and enjoy a nice duck à l'orange for dinner!
  • Nice artificial pond built because all the house in that area are built over a swamp. Some owners of those houses have had there houses raised again. (Big work to dig around a house and do that!). The house builders (Minto?) told me they where supposed to give that park back to city. Nice area!
  • This name is not right. It is Called Avalon lake, and there is no duck hunting at this place.
