A real nice play to spend a weekend. The beaches are nice, especially "barrão" for the surfers, and "praia da concha" to anyone in general (to get to this beach, you must climb a small moutain -for lack of better word- and on the other side you'll find a nice and calm beach, good for swimming).
You'll find also quite many restaurants with typical capixaba food ( moqueca -a dish made of sea fruits), pizza place, or just a kioske to enjoy a nice beer.
Sometimes a few surf contests are held at the barrão beach - or at leas quite close- you'll find sometimes some traditional congo music and dance (it's a style of traditional dance, it has a whole historical and cultural meaning).
Tough it's quite fun, if you're to go by bus, that may be a problem, unfotunently, the schedule on weekends drop to a bus for hour, so it can gat a bit annoying).
