Former old Polo Transmitting Station used a high powered vacuum tube type HF radio transmitter BC 447 for a long range communication link for provinces and AN/TRC radios link to VHF Station in main Post Office building in Manila. In early 60s change its name to Telecommunications Training Institute (TTI) and all communication equipment was transferred to Polo Transmitting Station Compound on late 60"s(See: wikimapia.org/#lat=14.6904158&lon=120.9779048&z=18&l=0... ) in Gen. T. De Leon Road to continue its operation. TTI is under by Telecommunication Office (TELOF) of Commission on Information and Communication Technology (CICT).
