  Barabelun, the ancient name of BilloPattan, one of the most famous villages of dist Burdwan under P.S: BHATAR. Many notable persons were born in this village, namely Dr.Satya Prakash Bhattacharya, Dr.Sambhunath Bhattacharya, Mr.Ramesh Pathak, Bhiguram Swami (the founder of the famous MABARAMA), Dr.Samiran Chatterjee, Mr.Chinmoy Pal, Mr.Asit Kumar Bhattacharjee (S/O Late Dr.Satya Prakash Bhattacharya), Mr.Apurba Bhattacharya (S/O Late Dr.Satya Prakash Bhattacharya), Mr.Anup Bhattacharya (S/O Late Dr.Satya Prakash Bhattacharya), Dr.Samapti Bhattacharya Mukherjee(S/O Late Dr.Satya Prakash Bhattacharya)and many others. Names of which could not be collected. The famous Bara Kali and Gopinath, Siddheswari Mata and many other Lord Shiv Temples are the main attraction of this village. MABARAMA about 700 yrs old was first founded Swami Bhiguram. It is about 25fts high and the newly built temple is one of the attractions of this village. Different religions, different caste of people are living here peacefully for many years and they are all participating during the famous Kali Puja irrespective of caste and religion.
