Kangala Sthala might be changed to Kankalitala. .It is also believed that Sree Aathi Kamtchi and Sree Kamakshi amman temples in Kanchipuram Tamilnadu where the pelvis part fell down.While seeing the signs Ma Kankalitala temple might be the Shakthi peeth for the Kangaleshwari.But this temple might be Akshara Peetam,,since the surrounding features are as the same of a akshara peetam. Scholars can confirm.
There is a stone in the depths of the temple pond which resembles a human skeleton. Once the water level recedes, this holy skeleton stone is visible. Most of the locals claim to have seen it and the stone is said to have sharp edges causing cuts when one tries to touch it.There is another temple Kankalita maa near Bardhaman,WB, there Ma shila murth is in skeleton form. Whole place of Bengal got its name because of Sree Sati Devi's Kangal - pelvis bone fell down here in Kangalistala and Kangal is now Bengal.

Shakti Peethas are holy abode of Devi formed due to the falling of body parts of the corpse of Sati Devi, when Shiva carried it and wandered through. There are 51 Shakti Peeth linking to the 51 alphabets in Sanskrit. Each temple has shrines for Shakti and Kalabhairava. The Shakti of the temple is addressed as "Devgarbha" and the Bhairava as "Ruru". It is believed that Sati Devi's bones (Pelvis) have fallen here.
