Installations: Parallel runway, several open parking positions, remote sites in the northwest and northeast.

Taszar was in use with the US Air Force / CIA (1996-2005). Now it's a civil airport, in the future maybe a commercial and/or logistical base.

  • This base has never been used by Sowiet forces! At the present location the airfield received a hard surface RWY and TWYs in 1952. It got closed by the end of 2005. Since then it has been unused.
