Special Enforcement Detail: responsible for handling high-risk, tactical operations involving barricaded suspects, hostage situations and high-risk warrant services. Special Weapons Team (AKA SWAT)

Canine Services Detail: primarily responsible for assisting patrol stations by conducting searches for felony and/or armed suspects with the use of specially trained dogs and their handlers (K-9 units)

  • Smaller area within to right is actual SEB Headquarters. Most of this area is the LASD Training Academy which includes classrooms, shooting range, and parade grounds. Physical Training takes place on track just east of here that is labeled Helipad. The helipad is used by the SEB and other units as needed and shares the area with Training Academy.
