A small village approximately 2 kilometres south of Caernarfon. It has a population of about 2,000 people, mostly Welsh-speaking. The most notable resident is the famous opera singer; Bryn Terfel (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryn_Terfel), who still resides in Bontnewydd to this day. For reasons of security, the exact location of his residence will not be revealed.
