Villa San Michele (Anacapri)

This historic villa affords a stunning view of Capri's north-facing coast. It was built by a Swedish expatriate, Dr Axel Munthe. The villa still houses a collection of antiquities and art. Upon Dr Munthe's death in 1948, the estate was willed to the Swedish State and since 1950 managed by the San Michele Foundation. Entrance fee 5-Euros.
