Formerly known as Gorda Cay, Castaway Cay was purchased by the Walt Disney Company as a private island for its Disney Cruise Line cruise ships. Approximately 55 acres of the island's 1,000 acres are developed with eateries, activity areas, play areas, and beaches.

  • I love it!! Best island in Bahamas! Love Disney, too.
  • Disney Cruise is great for all ages. Just if you are traveling as only adults there are alot of opportunites for adults only. Serenity Bay is great, for the best snokeling get off the ship when it first docks, so you can snorkle before all the kiddies.
  • I think I would pay to be attacked by a truckload of fire ants before I paid a dime to 'vacation' here with 5000 people and their loud, uncontrollable whiny kids.
  • this was the most awesome place you could ever go...not only do they cater to kids and family...but the adults as well
