Remnants of the first bridge between Cornwall and Cornwall Island are visible. Originally built in 1898 and opened for railway traffic in 1900. Planked for automotive traffic in 1934. Railway abandoned in 1957. Bridge closed in 1962 to cars. Demolished in 1965.
