Mythically Adam and Eve were the first man and women sent by God, from the heavens to the Earth, at least according to the three major Abrahamic religions and their scriptures: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

This placemark (21° 29'31" N, 39° 11'25" E) around the old downtown Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is where it is believed that Eve was buried. The name of the city, Jeddah, is derived from this belief, the meaning of which in the Arabic language means grandmother.

This graveyard, called Our Mother Eve, (Ammuna Hawwa in Arabic, Amma Hawwa as commonly known in Urdu,) is not considered a tomb for Eve nor is Eve's grave enshrined there. Rather this graveyard is open for use by the general public.رحمااه جميع الموتى - دعاء زيارة القبور
