  Snoubra (Pine Tree). A Huge Huge tree that covered a wide space in that area, so the neighborhood was called after the tree. It must have covered an area of 100X100 feet at least. Under the Canopy, Watermelon imported from ewgypt used to be sold there during the season. Haj Abdallah Al-itani used to have a store across the street. Next to him, two Itani brothers had a grocery story and a dairy store.
