1937-38 - The former Mutual Life and Citizens (MLC) Building is one of the best inter-war commercial office buildings in Sydney, and the best example in Australia of the rare exterior use of Egyptian-derived motifs in such buildings. Its design and materials are of high quality, making it one of the principal contributors to the architectural character of Martin Place.
