The Marshes Native Forest Reserve (NFR) consists of 596.5 hectares of native vegetation
that has been relatively undisturbed since 1930, located in the Mount Burr Forest in the
South East of South Australia. The area is recognised by those with expertise or interest in natural resources as a significant scientific benchmark site, being representative of more extensive areas of the original vegetation on wet sites in this district.

The Marshes Native Forest Reserve is located 17 kilometres east south east from Millicent
The Reserve contains 596.5 hectares occupying part Sections 364,365 and 366 Hundred of Hindmarsh in the Wattle Range District Council area.
