Clyde Arc (Glasgow)

United Kingdom / Scotland / Glasgow

Opened in Sept 2006, it was the first new motorised traffic crossing over the Clyde for almost 40 years. Locals call it the "Squinty Bridge" owing to the fact that the bridge unusually crosses the river at an angle - the official reason was so that it led directly to the "Media Village" - the real reason being the need to avoid the housing development on the South Bank.
