Rajasthan (Devanagari: राजस्थान) is een deelstaat in het noordwesten van India, grenzend aan Pakistan. De hoofdstad van Rajasthan is Jaipur.
Rajasthan heeft een oppervlakte van 324.239 km², ongeveer 10x zo grroot als Nederland, en telt 56.507.188 inwoners (2001). In oppervlakte en inwonertal staat het dus ongeveer gelijk aan Italië. Een groot deel van het westen van de staat wordt in beslag genomen door de Thar Woestijn.

Rajasthan have a surface of 324,239 km ², approximately 10x this way grroot such as the Netherlands, and count 56,507,188 inhabitants (2001). In surface and inwonertal therefore approximately the right to Italy stands. A large part of the west of the state is confiscated by the Thar desert.
