During times when temperatures are below freezing point, this field is flooded and a nice ice skating venue appears. The edges are like a levi - there is about 1 meter difference. During the summer times the grass field north of this field is used a overflow parking for the visitors to Harderwijk and the nearby beach and Dolfinarium.
