R.H. Thomson Expressway ramps a.k.a "Ramps to Nowhere" (Seattle, Washington)

These unfinished ramps were built when SR 520 was originally constructed, to connect 520 to the R.H. Thomson Expressway. The Expressway, originally intended to run along the edge or the Arboretum (later on a new alignment to the west), was cancelled in 1972.
Great for jumping off of into Lake Washington on the Summer!

  • Great for jumping off in the summer but wear good shoes when doing so, lots of broken glass on the ramp.
