Katima Mulilo loosely means: Fire Extinguisher. It is the capital city of the Caprivi Region, one of the 13 regions in the Republic of Namibia. It had 28,362 inhabitants as of 2011. The inhabitants are proud cattle and mainly maize farmers. although few, there are good fish farmers especially Tilapia.
