Shova (serbian Ravno Selo) is a village in Vojvodina. It is situated in the municipality of Vrbas, in the South Bačka District, Vojvodina province. The village is inhabited mostly by Serbs since the German majority was violently expelled after the WW2. Its population numbering 3,478 people (2002 census). Serbs from Bosnia, after they occupated stolen german houses, have gave it a new name Ravno Selo ('Flat Village') because they came from mountains and they were in a shock when they saw a flat plane first time in a life. It is also trading that they were so primitive, that they did not know how to use modern fireplaces, so that they have ripped parquetes and they have burned it in a middle of a living rooms.
