The Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre is a museum of local transport history based at Ruddington in Nottinghamshire. It has a nine mile standard gauge railway which used to be part of the old Great Central Railway. At the NTHC they have a classic Road Transport collection which is mostly buses as well as the home of the Nottingham Society of Model and Experimental Engineers. It is also the northern terminus of the Great Central Railway heritage line which runs through Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. The Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre is open every Sunday and bank holiday from Easter Sunday to late October.
