Oshakati is the second largest city in Namibia, Its development rate is higher than any other town in the country except for Windhoek. Oshakati was separated into two parts, part for white people and another part for black people, who mostly worked as domestic workers for the white people.
The first black resident to open business in Oshakati was the late Mr Johannes Bokoma Kweyo, who had a slaughter house, a cafe and a bottle store. Thereafter other people joined in business.
