  • Probably the family residential area for the higher ranked officers assigned to the Headquarters on the Kaserne.
  • It was for the family of high ranking officers. I was stationed there in the late 1980's and left in July 1990. At that time it was the foward deployed bigrade of the 1st Infantry Division. The Big Red One.
  • I lived on Kleitz Circle in the early 50's. My father was stationed there at the HQ.
  • My family lived on the circle when I was in first grade in 1962-63. My father was stationed at Cooke Barracks at the time. Back then, there was no development at all in the interior of the cul-de-sac... you could see across it from one side to the other.
