Grade II* Listed Building
This hall displays the the various styles of domestic architecture from the late thirteenth to the early nineteenth century. It's hall is of Tudor origin and is a grand setting for bookable wedding and parties. The grounds entail a 9 acre lake and a notable walled garden. However, Middleton's claim to fame lies in its history; Queen Elizabeth I most certainly spent 2 nights here in 1575, and it is the location where the very first ever scientific book on ornithology was written along with the first compiled catalogue of British plants.
