The "Tallinna Hipodroom" is opened in 25.11.1923 and since that it is operational now over 90 years. The primary track use of course as a horse race track but it was also sometimes used as speedway and supercross race track.

Following the events of World War I, a group of enterprising citizens built a racetrack on the western edge of Tallinn. The course is 1,000 metres long and it plays host to race events and parimutuel betting. It is a true downtown racecourse. Its final straight is one of the longest in Europe (270 m) and offers a lot of excitement to the spectators.
Competitions take place from February to November.
