I growup in the streets and plygrounds in PATTI SEKHH DI in Mehta Chowk.The people of MEHTA CHOWK, they have a great hospitality.I love to my whole family & my FRIENDS It's realy very religious place because of GURUGHAR ( GURUDAWARA GURDAWARA GURDARSHAN PARKASH ) And Headquarter of DAMDAMY TAKSAL of SANT JARNAIL SINGH JI BHINDRAWALE.Over all this is very nice and very peacefull place.

  • Mehta is not Home town of Sant Bhinderanwale, He born in Village Rode(Moga). He was head of Damdami Taksal, everyone knows Mehta is head off place for Taksal.

  • My grand father, Late Peshauri Lal Vaid is from Mehta Pind. He was an advocate and moved to Amritsar. I guess the ancestral property was sold in 1950s. Though I have never been there, my wish is to visit my ancestral native place. If anyone from that area can help me identify the exact place would be great.
