Ungava Bay (French: baie d'Ungava, Inuktitut (syllabics/Roman) ungava kangiqluk) is a large bay in northeastern Canada separating Nunavik (far northern Quebec) from Baffin Island. The bay has an area of approximately 33,000 km² (12,700 mi²). It is generally fairly shallow, though at its border with the Atlantic Ocean depths of 300 metres (980 feet) are reached.
