Kursdork village is a place of about 119 inhabitants, situated in the west of Saxony. Since 1993, the town belongs to Schkeuditz. It is surrounded by two runways of the Leipzig-Halle Airport, a highway and a ICE line. Due to the resulting high noise levels many villagers have left the place. Since the turn of the millennium Kursdorf has lost about half its population
