Frunzenski is a name of the district in the city of Minsk (Belarusian: Мiнск, pronounced [mʲinsk]; Russian: Минск, [mʲinsk]), the capital and largest city in Belarus. The district is named after: Mikhail Vasilyevich Frunze (Russian: Михаи́л Васи́льевич Фру́нзе; February 2 [O.S. January 21] 1885–October 31, 1925) a Bolshevik leader during and just prior to the Russian Revolution of 1917.
