This pond was belongs to Late Sudhir Ranjan Chatterjee & brother. Now it is the property of their sons.It is also known as Chatterjee Pukur.Though its name is Notun Pukur(New Pond) but it is a very old pond.Once upon a time it cultivates various types of fish like Rui, Katla, Mrigel etc of big size. I personally saw 5 kg fish from this pond.
