Site of Old Signer Sewing MAchine Plant, built in 1900, was one of Canada's largest industrial complex. Built Valentine Tanks during WWII. Closed in early 1970's, now abandonned.

  • This historical site was demolished by private interest (Le Groupe Maurice) in order to build "La Cité Des Tours" a residential complex for people in lost of autonomy. As a majority of people was against the project, Le Groupe Maurice built the new building with an architecture ressembling the Signer's plant.
