This moat is in some places completely disassembled and taken over by the city buildings. There are some remnants of the walls by the Tokyo Station and on the train line that runs north-west of the castle grounds.

  • Tokyoman - that's not exactly true. Parts of this outer moat still exist, however most are now covered by roads. The road name is Sotoboridori - literally outer-moat-road.
