Entrepreneurship: a virtue that began early
You Zefiro Giassi was born on June 30, 1933, in the town of Ponta do Mato, in Içara. Since early, awakened great interest in school activities, since the conclusion of the first degree, chose to become a teacher. With the support of family, was founded in Normal Regional Course in 1951, to pursue the activity as an educator at the Municipal School Morro Bonito. In this period, the cooperative system that has caused raised if Zefiro meet with their students for the purchase of school materials with more affordable prices through a cooperative school set up by himself. Was born at this time that the momentum turn in a skilled businessman and entrepreneur.

In 1960, Zefiro Giassi, having left the work of teaching, opens its first store in dry and wet (fabrics and hardware). Zefiro had as collaborator Mr. Benevenuto Fiorindo Dalmolin, with whom remained in participative society for a year.

With the growth of the city and the increasing need of the population, the company was also diversifying, resurgent trade in armarinhos and food. Tissues were replaced by construction materials. In 1964, Zefiro decided to open the capital of your company to new members, thus resulting in the Giassi and Co. The company remained until 1994.

Since then, the company is managed by its president Zefiro Giassi, taking the family as a support toward the departments. The company also got a new name, the Giassi and Cia Ltda.
