Dead from the Battle were placed on the stone floor of the barn to clear them from the sight of General Lee. The barn burned after the war. A home was built on the foundation and now serves as suites for the Quality Inn.

  • This was on Ghost of Gettysburg, where the wounded man was thought dead and bodies were stacked on top of him for days until after the battle and he had gone mad when Union troops dug him out before he died.
