This place has been there forever, Hilados has to do with the word hilo ( thread ) It's a cotton thread factory. The place graps the attention of any turist because people tend to confuse the word (Hilado) with the word (Helado) wich means ice cream in spanish. So when people from out of town see the place they say: Umm! the ice cream muct be really good!
