Broughton Astley is large Leicestershire village and civil parish in the Harborough district, just eight miles east of Hinckley and 12 miles south of Leicester city centre. It is really two villages in one, Primethorpe on north western edge and Broughton on the south-east.
This residential village has fourteenth-century granite church beside brook, with wide north aisle giving appearance of two naves, and Baptist chapel of 1815.
