Tunnel built in the 19th century. There is a common misconception that the tunnel was build by convicts but it is not true. Total length is about 50 m.

  • This tunnel was not built by convicts. It was built by th road contractor in 1866-68. Convict transportation in NSW ceased in the late 1840's.
