Located in the New South Wales of Australia, the Snowy Mountain range is a part of the Australian Alps and the Great Dividing Range. The Snowy Mountains that towers to a great height is the highest mountain range of Australia. The range included the 2228 metered Mount Kosciuszko, the highest peak of mainland Australia.

  • The Snowy Mountains cover an area vastly bigger than this circle - and it would take a UL2 to map in adequately. The aforementioned Mount Kosciuszko is not within this circle... Anyone care to have a go?
  • This actually Thredbo, a skiing village to the south of Mount Kosciuszko - but it is the start of the chairlifts to the plateau and the 6.5 km walk to the peak of the Mountain.
