Kalayaan Residence Hall is conveniently located at the corner blocks of Roces and Laurel Avenues and is adjacent to other upperclassmen dormitories namely: Yakal, Molave, Sanggumay and Ipil. It is only 10-15 minutes walk to the College of Social Science and Philosophy and is just a few meters away from the Catholic and Protestant chapels, the UP Health Service (Infirmary), the UP Shopping Center, and the UP Consumers' Cooperative Store. Transportation is very accessible since it is located along the main jeepney thoroughfare. Each room is designed for two students only and is provided with basic furnishings such as study table and chair, bed with mattress, lockers and mirrors. Bath and comfort rooms are common.
