Veľká Rača Ski Resort (Snow Paradise) in Oščadnica - is a mid-sized ski resort situated in the Kysuce regon, 25 kilometres north of Žilina, near the Slovak-Polish border. Veľká Rača (1236 m ASL) is the highest mountain in the Kysuce Beskids.
There is mountain passenger transport equipment including two 4-chair lifts and one 6-seater lift in combination with 8-seater cabins with total transportation capacity of 9,700 persons per hour.
This resort also offers 14 km downhill tracks that are treated on a regular basis and country-skiing tracks at the Health Track with lengths of 1, 3 and 5 km.
