Yeohwado, or Yeohwa Island, is a small island popular with tourists. There are hiking trails and paved roads leading up to Yeonhwa Peak, the highest point on the island. A large Amita Buddhist statue is found at the highest peak and affords a great view of the island and the Dragon Head Rock formation. Three Buddhist temples and shrines reside along the road crossing the island.
