  • A component city of Basilan Province. It's primary residents are chavacanos, yakans, tausogs and others. It used to be a part of a big city, Basilan. However, legislative mandates converted Basilan into a province hence seven municipalities came about. Isabela being one of its municipalities became the center of commerce. Institutions of importance are located in this city.
