A small, exceptionally beautiful, village of 600 people,built on mount Vermion (540m above the sea). All its people come from the region of Pontos (today in Turkey). Those of their grandfathers who escaped from the genocide commited against pontian Greeks by the troops of Kemal, came to Vermion and built this village, but never forgot their origin and traditions.
