Tongoa is the northernmost island in the group of the Shepherd Islands, Vanuatu in the South Pacific island nation. She belongs to the centrally-located province of Shefa Vanuatu.
At 41 km ² land area is the volcanic island, which is sparsely populated only in the coastal regions, the largest of the Shepherd Islands.
