Laudium Cricket Stadium. A very popular and commonly used oval not just for cricket during the cricket season, but also daily in use by health enthusiasts for walking, running and other exercises. Some statistcs as measured by M S Nagdee using HTC TYTN II Mobile with a built in satellite receiver. The oval has a perimeter of 460 metres on the cricket boundary side and 480 Metres on the edge of the field.At an average speed of 5.1kmh a distance of 3000 metres can easily be covered in a duration of 30 minutes.(about 5 rounds)..all averages

  • Update: Information has now been verified by using a HTC TYTNII with build in bluetooth. Convenient safe walking times are as follows: Weekdays 6.30 am to 9.00 am in winter. 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm in winter 5.30am- 9.00 am in summer 4.30pm- 6.30 pm in summer Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) The same times apply as in weekdays, but with somewhat of a less enthusiastic scaled down crowd. The stadium is a buzz of activity during weekdays and especially in summer when all ages partake in leisure and fun sporting activities. JOIN IN AND DO WHAT BEST FOR YOU.....EXERCISE, EAT PROPER FOOD AND DONT SMOKE.
