  • Summer time Parking fee $3. The local paper in Lynn ( The Lynn Item )has a policy about things that happen along this beach. Anything good its Lynn's beach , anything bad its Nahant's beach. Actually only a small section is within the city of Lynn. And that is the area where the decaying seaweed gives off an extremely bad smell. The only way to stop the smell is to remove the seaweed. On windy days at the Nahant end ( where the parking lot entrance is ) one can find grand examples of kite flying. This bay is also world known as a wind surfing mecca.
